Having boundaries are so important for our health and wellbeing. A lot of times we give away our power and we fear standing up for ourselves out of fear of offending someone or letting someone down.
Depending on who we are setting boundaries around, we also might feel terror expecting retaliation on their end. Setting boundaries can lead to us feeling guilty and even shamed depending on how others respond, but its no longer your responsibility to worry about that. It is time to start valuing and respecting yourself. It is time to call back your power and know that it is safe to set boundaries.
